Of poetry and taking time off

-- Quote of the Day --

“Sometimes we want to get away from the busy and hectic city life to find solace in the raging waves of the ocean pounding on the rocks or the turbulent splashing of a bubbling waterfall. At other times we are amazed by the immovable silence of a mountain or the gentle caress of a river overjoyed at its union with the sea. The topography of a region speaks to each one of us – a secret language that people from all facets of life understand and relate to.”

 ~ Stuti Garg

-- Announcement --

I'm taking Dec 1-3rd off from the office, well - mostly. I might still check the emails and respond to important communications, but other than that I'm taking the time off. My eyes and brain need the break :) So bear that in mind when you head over to the radio show and find that there's no live broadcast happening on Dec 1st or Dec 3rd, OK?... and thanks for understanding :)

-- Promo --

Only 2 more books to share information about for now, I promise. I don't normally do promotions for our products here in the blog content, but feel that sometimes it is important to let people know about the products or services we have available - because in fact we are running a business and without an income we wouldn't exist. So please do consider purchasing one of the books we've highlighted this past week and over the next couple of days - and remember that 10% goes to charity as well.

Today I'd like to highlight my first book of poetry... you might be interested to know that I do have another book of poetry coming out soon, which also has contributions from my husband (musician and business partner) Dave.
Until then though please do check out Towards Understanding - A Collection Of 125 Poems

 Introducing
'Towards Understanding'

This book is a collection of 125 non-fiction poems written in chronological order. It is a true story of a young pre-teen female growing up on her own, struggling to survive, breaking the chains of inner angst and growing towards understanding of her value and purpose in life – but not quite reaching it. Thus the title: Towards Understanding.
