Lucian Spataro JR is an environmentalist, businessman, educator, and adventurer whose accomplishments are international in scope and local as well. He is currently President and CEO of the Joe Foss Institute, and continues to write and speak on sustainability. He wrote a powerfully moving hardcover book that is filled with stunning photography about his trip across America on horseback in an attempt to bring attention to preserving the rainforest, titled: The Long Ride.
