Today, we have - Cynthia Clampitt, the author of a non-fiction travel narrative: Waltzing Australia. It is the story of the six-month, 20,000-mile trek around and across the land Down Under that marked her departure from the corporate world in pursuit of a writing career. According to Cynthia “The love of adventure that got kick-started during my first trip to Australia has stayed with me, and I’ve wandered far and wide—from Mongolia to Morocco, Iceland to India, Turkey to Tibet. And, of course, I keep returning to Australia.” Her book reveals details of Australian geography, history, arts and culture, but it also contains a fair bit of adventure. - click on the hyperlink above or look to the right for recently aired Authors Read broadcasts.
